About Us

Small Monday Island was originally conceived back in 2016 by founders Aranda Adams and Evelyn Goodfellow when the two wanted to find a way to share their love for the arts and various forms of creative services to the public. They began doing so in the summer of 2017 through Goodfellow Emporium, then known as Goodfellow Apothecary, where Evelyn began to sell her handmade jewelry, bath and skincare products at farmer markets. Later, in 2019, Aranda began to offer her services as a freelance artist to small businesses and personal individuals. Fall of 2022 was when their names started to gain traction as they had their first booth at Winnipeg Comic Con where they sold art and other fandom related products through Geek Like A Girl Studios.

Through the years, several small studios had begun to take form to the point that the two felt it best to form a single sole proprietorship to run the numerous studios out of. Thus, Small Monday Island Creative Studios was born.

Aranda and Evelyn are now pleased to announce that they have plans to open up a physical location for studios services and physical products Winter of 2025.
