What are essential oils?

Essential oil is the concentrated liquid containing the fragrance compounds of individual flower, tree, herb, spice, shrub, shoot or greenery; the parts of the plant that attract pollinators, deter pests, and essentially, smell nice. But they don’t just smell nice. They’re full of goodness for your mind, body and soul too, and it’s for that reason they’ve been used for centuries for all things from religious incense, to medicine, to food flavouring.

What are the benefits of essential oils?

Essential oils smell great, reduce stress, treat fungal infections, and help you sleep. They are concentrated extractions from plants. A process called distillation turns the “essence” of a plant into a liquefied form for many medicinal and recreational uses. There's a wide variety of essential oils available.

Where do we source our essential oils?

We source our essential oils from a various vendors, most being from the same companies we get our fragrance oils from. We do, however, get certain oils from small essential oil companies that make them in shoppe.
